Paul has a rich background in electronic payments, business platforms, sales management and business applications. He was one of the founding employees at Central Payment and finished his 13-year tenure as Vice President of Sales Execution. Paul’s passion is training and shaping young sales people to them become confident and successful is central to his role at Indeflex.
Phil Krivacek
Managing Partner
Phil has over 20-years of experience in the payments industry, and deep knowledge in entrepreneurship. His early career in retail and his background as a restaurant owner prepared him well for his career in payments. His 20-years at First Data included senior executive roles in product, client experience, and sales, most notably leading the Small Business team for Bank of America Merchant Services. Most recently, Phil served as the leader for Central Payment, a TSYS company serving over 80,000 merchants across the US.
Justin Tanis
Chief Technology Officer
Justin has years of experience building and optimizing trading and accounting systems with Bank of America’s Corporate Treasury. Justin eternally loves learning about the capabilities of the latest technologies, but emphasizes that systems are only worth what value they can deliver for the human beings on the team.
Blaine Krivacek
Chief Revenue Officer

Blaine brings broad experience in the payments industry to Indeflex. His background ranges from sales and training to product implementation, with top industry players such as TSYS and First Data. As Chief Revenue Officer for Indeflex, Blaine oversees and optimizes all revenue-generating activities for Indeflex. This includes sales operations, pricing, marketing, and customer support, with the goal of driving business growth through effective strategies and operations.

Erik Rekdal
National Sales Director

Erik is the Indeflex National Sales Director. After serving for seven years in the military, Erik began his career in sales, primarily in the automotive industry, where he quickly escalated to management roles. He chose merchant services to find work-life balance and unending earning potential. His success in the credit card processing industry amounted to an $11,000 monthly residual portfolio in less than 18 months, once closing 12 deals in one day. Erik brings his skills and talents to our Sales Partners by not only leveraging his own experience, but by using his leadership abilities to create a culture of support, collaboration and teamwork. He's passionate about helping people succeed in this business and see life-changing results.

As an Indeflex leader, Erik brings a strong commitment to our core values of honesty, ethics, and integrity. His insight into strategy and best practices is an asset to all of Indeflex as he grows our team and ensures customer satisfaction - both for our merchants and our Sales Partners.

Erik and his wife enjoy spending time with their six children and nine grandchildren, riding their Harleys, and travelling. He enjoys golf and playing pool, as well.

Matt Daneman
National Sales Director

Matt is a National Sales Director at Indeflex Payments. With a wealth of experience in sales leadership within the financial technology industry spanning over 15 years, Matt is not only a dedicated professional but also a loving family man. Matt's unwavering commitment to empowering entrepreneurs with cutting-edge payment solutions demonstrates his fervor for helping businesses thrive while savoring the meaningful moments in life.

During his leisure time, he takes pleasure in making cherished memories with his loved ones and indulging in his passions for video games, movies, mountain biking, and training jiu-jitsu.

Quintin Krivacek
Operations Manager
Quintin launched his career in merchant services with Bank of America as a Small Business Solutions Consultant after completing a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising from the University of Florida. While at Bank of America, Quintin specialized in Clover for restaurants and retailers. After selling direct to merchants for several years, he transitioned into financial planning and has worked in risk and wealth management for New York Life for several years. Quintin is excited by the Indeflex business model, which focuses on making the agent's job as easy as possible by arming them with all the tools they will need to cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with merchants. His operations responsibilities include maintaining the technology solutions agents use to process applications and serve merchants. Quintin believes the tools Indeflex is deploying have unparalleled functionality in the industry.
Patti Tonks
Director of Merchant Onboarding

Patti has extensive experience in both operations and customer service, which allows her to manage our merchant onboarding function effortlessly while continuously looking for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, entertaining, and tackling DIY projects with her husband.

Karina Mira
Senior Sales Coordinator
Karina is the friendly voice of Indeflex. She handles all the administrative needs of our rapidly growing agent population with ease. A payments veteran, Karina worked for Central Payment for several years and held various titles, including positions in underwriting, recruiting, as a Sales Assistant, and then Regional Manager. Karina loves the pace and excitement of being part of the start-up environment and works hard as the glue of our sales team to assist the agents with anything they need. Karina has three children and resides in Northern California, working out of Indeflex’s West Coast office.
Casey Smith
Client Experience Manager
Casey holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL where she played for the women’s soccer team. Casey is a friendly, helpful voice to assist Indeflex merchants with a variety of needs. Previously, Casey worked as a substitute teacher and before that as a wine consultant. Customer service skills with a smile and attention to detailed customer care are hallmarks of Casey’s upbeat personality.
Kris Urfer
Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Kris began his career trading commodities and stock options on the Chicago Board of Trade and the Pacific Stock exchange. After spending some time in the mortgage industry, he found his home in Merchant Services. Kris worked for 10 years with Central Payment where he was the top recruiter year over year. He also served as Sales Director at both Central Payment and Rev 19 before joining Indeflex.

Kris enjoys playing golf, surfing and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Genevieve Pelletier

Genny comes to Indeflex after working for 27 years with Florida Blue, in roles as a Clinical Support, an Administrative Assistant, and a Sales Coordinator, where taking the lead and customer service has always been her forte. Her greatest reward is the customer is happily satisfied, and the job is done well. She also has served as a teacher in both the U.S. and Japan, where she taught English.

Genny served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and we thank her for her service.

Tori supports our team with technical support and has expertise across all the product lines we sell. Not only is Tori exceptionally tech-savvy, but he is also a patient, helpful resource for all our sales partners’ technology-related questions and concerns in the field. Tori has more than 15-years of tech support experience and previously worked for TSYS in customer service and agent support.

Dagan has 4-years of technology support experience in payments and loves solving problems. Dagan holds a BS Degree in Game Art and Design and is an avid technology guru, following the latest trends in payments and personal tech.

Jeremy has over a decade of experience in the Fintech industry. He is a California native who grew up in beautiful Los Gatos in the South Bay. He has a Bachelor's Degree in business from Arizona State and studied film at UC Santa Barbara. Outside of work, he enjoys snowboarding, live concerts, going to the movies, time with family and going on hikes. His dream is to one day complete a film screenplay and travel the world.

Nicole Carroll

Nicole Carroll is a payments veteran with 25-years of industry experience spanning product, innovation, technology, and customer service. She recently served as the Senior VP of Global Payments Experience and Solutions at Visa where she was responsible for Visa’s strategy for acceptance products and solutions. She also drove the design, development, and delivery of new services and solutions to enhance the customer experience at the point of purchase.

Carroll has served in several executive positions globally, where she honed her leadership abilities. Before Visa, she served as the Global Head of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at Discover Financial Services. Here she was responsible for leading the digital transformation of the company, including its launch of mobile payments. Before Discover, Carroll served as Chief Marketing Officer at Transys, where she launched several product solutions, including the Oyster Card, a smart payment card for transportation in London. Preceding Transys, Carroll was a founding member and Managing Director at Citi Ventures – the global corporate venture capital and innovation group at Citigroup.

Carroll holds a joint degree in International Relations and International Economics from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.  Additionally, she holds dual citizenship in the United States and Ireland and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family. She joins the Indeflex team as a key member of the Advisory Board, where her experience and deep payments knowledge will support strategic growth and planning as the business quickly grows.
Carl Mazzola

Carl Mazzola is an electronic payments industry veteran of over 30-years. He has held executive management and c-level positions at First Data, TeleCheck, Bank of America Merchant Services and most recently TSYS where he was President and Chief Revenue Office for their Healthcare Payments and Integrated Partner Payments division. In each of these roles, Mazzola built and motivated highly talented business development, sales, and customer/partner relationships teams that consistently led the respective organizations in revenue and profit growth. Vision, creativity, customer and partner focus, execution, risk-taking, teamwork and high professional and ethical standards are recognized characteristics of Mazzola’s successful teams.
Mike Gramz

Mike Gramz leads all risk management functions at Yapstone which is focused on providing partners with world class Marketplace Trust and Safety solutions. Mike is a payments industry veteran who has spent much of his career focused on compliance and regulatory policy, PCI, credit, fraud, loss provisioning and loan loss reserves, and data security. He has over 27-years of financial services experience at FinTech companies including Merchant e-Solutions (a Cielo company) as Chief Risk Officer and Board Director, and 17 of those years at Bank of America where he was Chief Risk Officer for Bank of America Merchant Services (BAMS) and a key strategic contributor in the formation of the acquiring joint venture with KKR and First Data Corporation. As a risk executive for Bank of America, over the years he was also responsible for Global Corporate Banking product risk, oversaw card brand acquiring relationships, led Global Treasury Services compliance, and was accountable for all consumer and corporate compliance functions in Canada and Latin America including businesses in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Mexico.
Pepper Whaling

Early on, Pepper was instrumental during the rapid growth of Cardservice International and its subsequent sale to First Data Corporation. As Director of Portfolio Management for First Data’s independent sales channels, he managed seven distinct business units representing hundreds of agent and ISO relationships worth hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue. The portfolio spanned four backend platforms and multiple frontends, and Pepper has gained in-depth knowledge of each. Subsequently, Pepper has worked with an increasingly diverse range of payment systems (including TSYS, Vantiv and Global Payments).

Pepper started consulting independently in 2010, after sensing a rising need among clients for deep payments expertise on critical near-term projects. The idea was to share the unique combination of industry knowledge and hands-on portfolio management skills he had gained over 12-years in the merchant acquiring business. He understands the views of small private companies and large public corporations, having worked in both unique environments.

Pepper holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, where he specialized in executive management.

Don Canale

Don Canale is an industry veteran with 20+ years of high-level financial planning and analysis experience. Mr. Canale served as the Vice President of Finance for a $725MM business unit within First Data’s (FISERV) Global Business Solutions segment. In his role as a Division CFO, he became a trusted strategic business partner providing broad decision support and insight to maximize opportunities for growth and profitability.

Micah Shawn is a payment, fintech, and SaaS executive with nearly 20 years of experience in building high-performing sales organizations. Micah has served at every level from sales representative to Executive Committee and is known for his deep understanding of how to leverage technology to help both employees and clients. His focus on client success has created new opportunities for consultative, value-based sales, and high achievement of the teams he's led. As Head of Transformation at Bank of America Merchant Services, Micah was a member of the executive team that launched the sale of Clover, now a best-selling brand of POS equipment and SaaS.

In addition to leading multiple teams at BAMS, Micah has owned three businesses, spent time at First Data (now Fiserv), Indeflex, and Rectangle Health. He's committed to driving sustainable growth with a focus on continuous improvement, client success, and consultative, value-driven relationships.

Jason brings 15-years of software engineering and entrepreneurship experience having co-founded three companies in Silicon Valley. Jason has worked with prominent tech companies Twitter and Walmart labs. He has built software solutions for infrastructure, sales, marketing and data science.
